Dreamworks Apparently Has Enough Properties for a Kart Racer
I have to admit that I was a little surprised when I got an email announcing that Dreamworks was set to launch a Kart Racing game across multiple platforms. No, I wasn’t surprised by the Kart Racing part of it, as everyone seemingly wants a Kart Racer. I can’t wait for the inevitable Bravo Network Kart Racing title. Instead, I was surprised that Dreamworks had enough properties to create a Kart Racer, but I stand corrected.
Yes, Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing is coming later this fall to Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. You will be able to take control of 20 different Dreamworks characters like Shrek, Po, Puss in Boots, Boss Baby and more. You can also choose from over 20 different carts for your characters that can be customized with different parts and accessories.
Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing will allow players to race through iconic locations that are based on movie properties, like Baby Corp, The Kingdom Far Far Away, and more. As you race through these areas, you will also be presented with multiple paths you can take to try and get that first place trophy.
No launch date is set yet, but Dreamworks All-Star Kart Racing will ship in both a regular and deluxe edition at $39.99 and 49.99 respectively. Look for it later this fall.
