Time to Learn a Little History

About mclazyj

Well, I have been playing video games since about 1981, when I got my first Atari 2600 as a Birthday/Christmas present.  Sure the Intellevision was a better system, but I wanted Space Invaders, Football and so many others that you could not get on that other console.  But my love for gaming kicked in around 1985 when my dad saw that I had picked up a knack for computer coding and bought a Tandy 1000 for the house.  Sure I did some coding with it, but my main use for that Tandy was for computer gaming.  Tons of Sierra games, RPGs and so much more.  I was a strict computer gamer for many years after until I finally bought an OG Xbox in 2003 when I needed to replace the DVD player in our house.

Since then, I have diversified my gaming, currently owning the following:

• Xbox Series X
• Xbox One X
• Xbox One S
• PlayStation 4
• Nintendo Switch
• Nintendo Wii U
• PlayStation Vita
• Xbox 360

And yes, I still do play at least a few titles on those, although the Xbox One S and Wii U are currently sitting in my work office so I can get in a few rounds while I am taking a lunch.
